We’re Calling It: The Greatest Fashion Trends of 2024

Though 2024 hasn’t arrived just yet, its biggest fashion trends (spotted on the Spring/Summer 2024 runways during New York, Milan, Paris, and London fashion weeks) are already well underway. While Fashion Week always comes with a bit of seasonal dissonance, it’s hard to ignore that this season looks different from what we’ve seen before. For example, there are many new styles in menswear for women. With the spring 2023 catwalk shows also featuring very unique pieces, it’s clear that the trend of color has become much more prevalent.

In addition to being bold, bright, and colorful, these fresh-faced designs have been paired with bold prints. This means not only is it easier to match up with your outfit, but you can add extra style with a pair of loafers or sneakers by opting for a bold and vibrant print. The trend has even reached down into womenswear, as a number of designers are incorporating some interesting shapes like geometric patterns in their collections, which could be perfect for adding a touch of texture to any look. If you’re looking for something fun and funky, try pairing an oversized piece with a light fabric jacket. Or if you want to give yourself some added flair, go for a pair of statement shoes with a patterned design or an eye-catching color print.

Another big thing that you might expect in 2023 has to do with colors, as the use of tones is now much more prominent than ever before. However, rather than sticking to traditional shades like red, blue, green, and yellow, we see more colors come out in 2022. Some examples include purple, teal, orange, pink, yellow, brown, black, cream, gray, and others. You’ll likely find more neutrals like white, creams, and greens coming out with their own collection of clothes. And if you’re looking for something more classic and timeless, then check out those muted tones in men’s clothing too, such as khaki or tan. These trends definitely make sure to keep everyone looking cool and sophisticated, so don’t be afraid to mix and match them with other trends, such as polos and shorts.

Of course, one thing that we’re sure to see again in 2023 will be floral patterns. With several designer brands including Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Versace, Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, Etro, Miu Miu, Celine, Gucci, Michael Kors, Chloe, Fendi, etc. showing off their playful and whimsical flower designs, we’re expecting some really fun designs to come out. In addition, there will be plenty of daring pieces in both men’s and women’s fashion, ranging from high necklines to long sleeves. And if you’re someone who loves all things wild and unexpected, then perhaps you’d prefer seeing some edgy and crazy prints come back to life.

So whether you’re ready for another major shift in fashion trends or simply finding inspiration to add some personal flare to your wardrobe, take advantage of the runway shows in May 24th-28th, as they’ll be offering some exciting and cutting edge styles.
