We’re in the midst of a chilly winter, and it’s already time for us to start thinking about holiday costumes and outerwear. While we love our cozy sweaters, there’s nothing quite like having a cute jacket or sweater on to add some fun style to your outfit. In today’s post, we’re sharing some adorable options for both! We had to ship all of the presents down, which means we are finished because we are leaving today to spend the holidays at the mountain house. bringing only cozy clothing for lounging around the house, taking walks, playing in the snow, and the sporadic trip to my favorite location, Sky Park Santa’s Village (You know, the vintage year-round Christmas-themed adventure park that was renovated 10 years ago and is just so sweet).
In response to Madewell’s request for a social partnership, I tried on and selected a few items for the trip, and I thought I’d share my favorites with you here. For those of us who don’t want anything too fitted right now, this sweater is extremely reliable and flattering. Although the bust and tummy have plenty of room and a really good length, the arms are slim (not too short not too long). Fall wardrobe planning can be challenging, particularly when it comes to selecting appropriate coats and jackets. When you step outside, your fall jacket or coat not only creates the first impression of your outfit but also has the responsibility of both complementing the majority of your clothing and protecting you from the elements. Because of this, you should give purchasing a women’s fall jacket some extra thought.

The Texture-Lover’s Cardigan
- This cardigan is a must-have for any cold-weather lover. It’s cozy, and warm and can be worn in so many different ways.
- A poncho is another great option for those looking to add some texture to their outerwear this season.
- The kimono has been making waves on social media lately and for good reason! It’s soft and comfortable enough to wear at home but also looks chic enough that you don’t have to break out the leggings or tights when going out in public (if that’s your jam).
- A wrap dress is another great way to show off your love of texture without sacrificing style!
The wrap dress is a classic for a reason. It can be worn in so many different ways, and it’s super comfortable! It’s also great for those who aren’t into wearing leggings or tights under their clothes; they’re perfect if you want to show off your legs when it’s warm out. A button-down shirt is another go-to piece that will never go out of style.

The Fuzzy Oversized Blazer
A Fuzzy Oversized Blazer is a great option for the cold weather. This blazer has an oversized fit and fuzzy texture, which will keep you warm. It’s also water resistant and has zipper detailing at the cuffs of each sleeve and hem for easy access when you need to zip up quickly. The faux-fur trim on the hood makes it even cozier than other sweaters like this one has been in past years!
This jacket can be used as a layering piece under other coats or jackets during colder months because it’s so lightweight; however, if you do get caught in a snowstorm (like we did), then this sweater would provide enough warmth to keep yourself comfortable until someone comes along with an umbrella or rescue vehicle or both!
